Challenge

LAX is one of the busiest airports in the world. It was also one of the most outdated. Going into a decade-long renovation, they wanted to get travelers excited about the improvements and make their trips as painless as possible.

Insight

While most airports employ a generic “pardon our dust”-style campaign during renovations, our research revealed we’d need to do a lot more to placate some of the most discerning travelers in the world.

Results

In addition to laying the groundwork for critical communications in the years ahead, we increased overall awareness of the airport modernization from 37% to 78% over the course of the 14-month campaign.
