Laura Bernier joins Phelps as VP account planning, working with Phelps teams Tahiti Tourisme, SoCalGas, Panasonic and Public Storage. Her forte is creating a link between consumer motivation and behavior to generate action-oriented insights and creative communication strategies throughout the consumer journey. She specializes in designing empathy experiences for her clients and internal teams that help put themselves in the consumers' shoes. Phelps, based in Playa Vista, is one of the West Coast's leading integrated marketing communications agencies.
Previously at TPN, Chicago, she was director of strategic planning and provided leadership on accounts such as Clorox, Gatorade Influencer, Barilla, Tropicana and Bridgestone Retail Operations. She spent more than seven years working in insights and strategy on the client side at both The Pampered Chef and Kraft Foods.
She holds a bachelor's in Business Administration and French with concentrations in Marketing and International Business from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois.
