• Analyze data processing problems to implement and improve the company's computer systems.

Accounts Payable (A/P) Coordinator
Phelps, an Integrated Marketing Communications Agency located 9 blocks from the Santa Monica coastline is currently looking to hire an Accounts Payable Coordinator for our team. If you want to work at a company which truly fosters collaboration and creativity then this is the place for you.

Duties:
• Coding and entry of both expense reports and supplier invoices into accounting program.
• Assist billing specialists as necessary with supplier invoice entry and billing process
• Assist with check runs
• Daily/Weekly filing of supplier invoices and check copies into accounts payable files.
• Setup of new suppliers in accounting software as well as supplier A/P file.
• Collection of supplier paperwork for setup file
• Annual supplier cleanup and prep for new year
• Respond to supplier inquiries on payment status via phone and email
• Call suppliers for missing invoices as needed
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 1-2 years of accounts payable experience
• Familiarity with General Ledger structure and basic accounting knowledge

HTML/CSS Developer
Phelps, an Integrated Marketing Communications company located 9 blocks from the Santa Monica coastline, is in need of a Front End Web developer to help round out our team of developers!

We’re the type of agency that focuses on delivering high impact campaigns and applications for our clients across various industries. As such, we're looking to add to our existing team of developers who currently work on a range of consumer facing websites, applications and online media.

Freelance Information Architect/ User Experience Designer

We're looking for a rock star Senior Information Architect and User Experience Designer… ideally wrapped up into the same person to work with us on a freelance basis.

Information architecture and user experience design are arguably the 2 most important components of any endeavor in the interactive space. As online executions get more complicated, intricate, and accessible on an exponentially growing number of devices, the need for IA/UX strategic brilliance becomes increasingly critical. • Monitor all technical resources, both internal and external, engaged in the project directly and indirectly, especially on matters of scope, effort, technical specifications, progress, and deliverables.
• Provide day-to-day communications regarding development status with programming team, plus weekly updates on schedules, resources, risks, and issues to the Program Manager and Core Team.
• Identify and manage development (and future deployment) against key technical milestones, project dependencies and project resources
• Identify and escalate potential issues, developing mitigation options and executing selected resolutions
• Establish and maintain communication with each technical resource group (including the front/back-end developers, user experience specialists, creative team, QA Manager and testing team), and be aware of each group’s project-related responsibilities.
• Provide continuous technical support as directed by the Program Manager to assist in ensuring the project’s timely success.
• Vet/validate the project’s technical direction, progress estimations, and systems interaction expectations of all network/internet performance and data structure/coordination as appropriate.

Search Engine Optimization Specialist

We’re seeking an experienced Search Engine Optimization Specialist

The person we hire for this role will be responsible for all aspects of optimizing our client’s interactive efforts for optimal search engine performance. The role encompasses aspects of strategy, content creation, and interactive development.

Plainly said, we’re looking for an SEO rock star.

As part of consideration for this role you must be willing to share case studies and results from past accounts and projects. Innovation and creativity are just as important to us as methodology and project lifecycle, so please keep that in mind.

Candidate should be prepared to speak to and provide examples of:
- Research techniques in staying on top of market trends
- SEO copywriting
- SEO architecture audits
- Strategies and techniques for identifying SEO opportunities, recommendations, and implementations
- Thorough understanding of interactive development best practices relating to SEO; and ability to work with a dev team in the implementation of SEO updates
