Front End Web Developer
Phelps, an Integrated Marketing Communications company located 9 blocks from the Santa Monica coastline, is in need of a Front End Web developer to help round out our team of developers!

We’re the type of agency that focuses on delivering high impact campaigns and applications for our clients across various industries. As such, we're looking to add to our existing team of developers who currently work on a range of consumer facing websites, applications and online media.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
• 1 to 2 years of hands-on web development experience (examples of past work/projects will be required)
• Thorough understanding of HTML5 and CSS coding best practices
• Experience with JavaScript libraries and frameworks, jQuery knowledge is required
• Experience with Photoshop, and other graphics optimization software

Team Coordinator (Advertising Account Coordinator)

The Team Coordinator will be responsible for providing project management support on a large-scale interactive account for one of our agency’s leading clients.

This position is much more than tracking schedules and timelines – you’ll be working with specialists across all disciplines to develop and execute solutions to make our site work harder and faster to provide users with an optimal online brand experience.

Candidate should be intuitive, digitally savvy, a strong team player and demonstrate smart thinking and proactive problem solving. He or she should possess a basic understanding of web design concepts and processes. This candidate should have an interest in learning the ins and outs of the digital space and how to communicate a brand’s personality through all interactive channels.

Strong communication skills (written and oral), organizational skills and client service skills required. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-3 years account management or project management coordination experience in a mid/large size advertising agency on interactive accounts – other experience a plus.

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree plus strong Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email marketing skills. Experience with Marketo is a plus, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities include:

Team Manager (Advertising Account Manager)
Phelps is looking for a talented mid-level (3-5 years) Account Manager with a background in integrated campaigns across TV, Digital/Social, OOH, radio and print to provide excellent client service and account management skills.

The individual will manage the administration of client assignments on a day-to-day basis.

Major responsibilities also include planning, analyzing, and evaluating information and agency output relevant to agreed-upon client needs. Candidate will also be responsible to coordinate and manage the activities necessary to meet client’s needs; ensure the smooth flow of work among agency teams; and coordinate preparation of media plans, research recommendations, and strategies.

Content Strategist- Freelance
Phelps, an integrated marketing communications agency located in along the Santa Monica coastline is currently looking for a Freelance Content Strategist to join one of our largest teams.

This team is dedicated to reimagining the way our client defines themselves as the leading brand in their vertical and as such we’re looking for a Content Strategist to help spearhead that vision.

Our ideal candidate is well versed in content marketing with the ability to propose the best content strategy using the right platforms to help maximize consumption.

The selected candidate will be working on this large scale project until Q3 to Q4 2015 (this date is approximate). We’re looking for more than a body to fill a chair and hands to do the work. Accounts Payable (A/P) Coordinator

• Assist billing specialists as necessary with supplier invoice entry and billing process
• Assist with check runs
• Daily/Weekly filing of supplier invoices and check copies into accounts payable files.

The person we hire for this role will be responsible for all aspects of optimizing our client’s interactive efforts for optimal search engine performance. The role encompasses aspects of strategy, content creation, and interactive development.

As part of consideration for this role you must be willing to share case studies and results from past accounts and projects. Innovation and creativity are just as important to us as methodology and project lifecycle, so please keep that in mind.

Candidate should be prepared to speak to and provide examples of:
- Research techniques in staying on top of market trends
- SEO copywriting
